A versatile pot stand made from fragrant strips of Hinoki and Cherry wood. Unfolded, the strips form a small, striped matt, ideal for a tea or coffee pot. Flipping the individual strips over creates a larger, slatted trivet, perfect for supporting larger pans and dishes.

The craftsmen producing these pieces are based in the mountain ranges of Kochi, Japan. Wood is dried for 3 to 6 months before use which maintains the fragrant, oil-rich, and sturdy composition of Hinoki. Using sustainable methods of production, they remain devoted to the preservation of the forests and lakes around them.
